MVNIA will once again be seeking entries for the annual Neighborhood Pride Showcase! Each year, MVNIA celebrates and applauds homeowners in the Tri-City area (Batavia, Geneva, St. Charles) who have recently remodeled their homes during Neighborhood Pride Week. Neighborhood Pride Week will be May 18 through May 24, 2008. Remodeling projects submitted by Monday, May 12 , 2008 may be again featured in a variety of venues both newspaper and web-based throughout our community. Great prizes include landscaping and nursery gift certificates. Grand prizes include a lawn mower donated by Ace Hardware and a fountain donated by Aquascape Designs.
Neighborhoods are only as vibrant and strong as the people living
in them. In the Tri-Cities, we are fortunate to have homeowners
who take pride in their homes and their neighborhoods. From
small and historic homes, to large and new, MVNIA salutes our
neighbors who are improving their homes and investing in our
greater community.
Whether your project ranges from modest to expansive, we appreciate all of
the homeowners have invested time and energy to make things
look great! If there is a home remodeling project you admire in your neighborhood, tell
the homeowners how much you appreciate their efforts and suggest that they apply today.
Remodeling categories this year include: Landscaping, Exterior (includes landscaping/painting), Additions, Exterior Renovations (includes new and historic), and Commercial. We also ask that submitted projects be viewable from the street.
